What do you like most about working at Monoova?
My favourite thing about working at Monoova is that every day is different - there's always a new challenge to take on and a really supportive team to help you tackle that

How would you describe Monoovians in 3 words?  
Driven, innovative, supportive.

Payments can be quite a dry topic, over the last year what have you learned about payments that has surprised you?
I've worked in the financial sector for a few years but this is my first experience working in payments specifically. I've been surprised by just how quickly the payments space is evolving and innovating, and it definitely makes it a really interesting environment to work in!

What is your favourite part of your role?
I really enjoy that no two days are the same. One day I might be focusing on contract negotiation, and another I might be working on keeping abreast with the latest regulatory changes in the field.

Most memorable moment at Monoova?
The most memorable moments have been our monthly town halls. It's really nice to have everyone come together in the office for our company updates and a team lunch.

Best piece of advice you have ever been given?

When I started my first full-time role after graduating, I was told to 'say yes to everything' and I've tried to always do that at work. It's led me to a lot of interesting opportunities, including my role at Monoova!

Favourite way to spend a day off?
Either a day hike in the blue mountains or a day at the beach with a good book.

Last book you read?
Marshmallow by Victoria Hannan - an example of the best of Australian literary fiction.

Should pineapple go on pizza?
This is definitely controversial but yes, I really like it!

Are you a cat person or dog person?
Definitely a cat person…I have two cats called Lilly and Nala.
